How to Tap Into a White-Hot & Lucrative Blog Niche That is Actually FUN – Part 9

Now, moving right along, let’s talk about product research.

When it comes time for you to create a product you want to make sure that you create something that people actually want.

Let’s say you’ve already done your market & competition research and you know you want to move into a particular market.

Now there are several free sites that you can use to get customer feedback to know exactly what they’re looking for: what their desires and needs are, along with what some of their complaints are.

Amazon.com is a great place to go for this.

Once we’re there, we can simply type in low cholesterol and you’ll notice that as you type the
keyword Amazon tells you what other people have searched for that is related to that keyword.

For this example, we can see low cholesterol cookbook is located in the Kindle store.

If you click on low cholesterol diet plan you can see that there are different books available and it gives you related searches.

So we can see that the cookbook seems to be getting more searches.

For this search, we got 453 types of products that are being sold under that specific keyword.

On the other hand you could use this data if you wanted to create a product that was somewhat related to products in this market.

Let’s say for example that I’m looking to create a book or DVD on a specific diet plan.

So we can see the DASH diet action plan is mainly weight loss.

There’s a book called Cholesterol Down… you can can go through these products and click on the one that seems to be getting the majority of the good reviews.

If we click on this here we can see the ratings used for stars and we want to go through and read some of the reviews (both positive and negative) to see if there is a certain pattern of what people are saying about it in terms of content.

If you can figure out something that is missing in their product that you can fulfil in yours, it could work well when you put it infront of the buyer market.

Getting an idea of that customer views are is key because the reviews will tell you exactly what people want, what people are frustrated with and what they’re willing to buy.

And if their expectations aren’t met, they’re going to go around and search for other types of products that can fulfil that specific need.

I’d also advise you to look at other products in the market and go through some of their reviews as well.
